Amazing Technique in Making Motorcycle Sprockets
The manufacture of motorcycle sprockets begins with a large metal disk that is cut into smaller disks of the desired size. Each disk is then drilled with a series of holes around the perimeter. These holes will eventually hold the teeth that will make up the sprocket.
Next, a series of teeth are cut into the periphery of each disk. The teeth can be of different shapes and sizes, depending on the specific requirements of the sprocket. Finally, the teeth are heat treated to harden them and prevent them from wear.
The completed sprockets are then ready to be installed on a motorcycle.
