How plastic water tanks are made
Water-plastic tanks are made in a variety of ways, depending on the size, shape, and intended use of the tank. The most common method is rotational molding, in which a mold is rotated while heated plastic is poured inside. The plastic is then cooled, and the mold is removed, resulting in a seamless, one-piece tank. Other methods include injection and blow molding, typically used for smaller tanks.
