This Young Guy is Brilliant in Repairing Hydraulic Pumps
A hydraulic pump is a mechanical device that converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. It uses a plunger to create a vacuum that draws fluid into a chamber. The chamber is then pressurized by the plunger, which forces the fluid through a check valve and into a hydraulic cylinder or motor.
The function of the hydraulic pump fails when the seal between the pump and the cylinder is damaged. Several things, including wear and tear, dirt or debris in the pump, or a manufacturing defect, can cause this. When the seal is damaged, it allows oil to leak out, which can cause the pump to lose pressure and eventually fail.
