A radiator is a component of an internal combustion engine that helps to transfer heat away from the engine. The radiator is usually located at the front of the machine, where it can receive airflow from the engine cooling fan. The hot coolant from the engine is circulated through the radiator and cooled by the airflow. The cooled coolant is then returned to the engine where it can absorb more heat from the engine.
